"Mashed with custom two-row pilsner malt from our friends at Riverbend Malt House of Asheville, North Carolina along with heaps of flaked rye. Hopped intensely with warrior and amarillo along with pine-forward chinook. Steeped on heaps of eastern white pine needles, foraged on a snowy afternoon on the land of our Appalachian farmhouse brewery. Fermented clean and crisp with our preferred ale yeast for a decidedly dry finish. As winter settles in, we look to the coniferous trees for inspiration and glimpses of green."
