"2 different smoked malt, one rauchmalz from Bamberg and one peated malt are added to the mash of this surprisingly subtle and food friendly ale. But it was not enough for us! We pimped it with a hint of Tarry Suchong a Chinese Smoked tea bringing tanins and another level of smokiness to the finish of the palate. A must try with paprika dishes. My inspiration came visiting an asphalt mine near the brewery and I wanting to recreate this feeling in a beer."
