Last night, we were honored that Charlie Papazian and his family came to the humble storefront to enjoy some Fullsteam beers with us! Don’t forget, tonight is his keynote speech at Highland Brewing tonight at 6:00 p.m. The event runs from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Charlie’s talk will focus on general beer styles and personal experiences with yeast. He will also present updates on governmental affairs and legislative developments and leave plenty of time for Q&A. Also speaking: Kevin Sudderth of Hach will be talking to us about oxygen pick-up/testing (4:00 p.m.) and Don Bryant, President and CEO of HopUnion, LLC will offer us education on IPAs (5:00 p.m.).
If you are a member of the NC Brewers Guild or the Asheville Brewers Alliance, you only need to register here and bring proof of membership. General admission tickets are at $25.00 at the door. Proceeds go to help fund programs and events through the ABA and NC Brewers Guild. Food provided by 12 Bones Smokehouse.
Afterwards, head on over the The Thirsty Monk for the Asheville Beer Divas pint night with Lauren Salazar of New Belgium!
**Please note we will be closing at 5:00 p.m. today, so that all of us can go to this event.**
