This Thursday at The Thirsty Monk, we will co-host our first Asheville Tweet-up (Drink-up) to meet, chat, and sign the petition to Stop The NC Beer Tax. There will be laptops set-up in the Pinthouse and the Belgian Beer Bar, just in case you show-up with a non-geek friend without a laptop or smart phone, who won’t be Twittering/Blogging/Facebook-ing (is that a verb?).

Hooray, a geek party! With beer! We’ll meet at 7pm upstairs for the cask or Rogue Dry-Hopped Dead Guy! (Just after the Bruisin’ Tasting, so come to that and we’ll walk over together!) If you’re too lazy to come have a beer with us, PLEASE sign the petition here: STOP THE NC BEER TAX.
