If we’re going to see a movie about craft beer, we should at least take our Thursday Tasting to the Hollywood Cinemas before BeerWars LIVE, right? (Tickets here.)

Former Bruisin’ alum, Chris Dotson, aka “the brewsician,” and Josh Odom of Carolina Craft will be pouring four fine brews from Stoudts Brewing Co. before the 8pm showtime. We will start at 6:30pm. We had this lined-up already and, hell, it’s only fitting we do Stoudts, which started way back in 1987 under the helm of Ed and Carol Stoudt—one of the first female voices in the craft beer industry. She deserves a medal in the beer wars!

STOUDTS Gold Munich-style Lager
“Widely recognized as one the finest German-style beers brewed in America.” [4.7% abv]

STOUDTS Pilsner
Crisp and refreshing, this German-style Pilsner, has a clean, smooth finish. [5.4% abv]

STOUDTS Scarlet Lady E.S.B.
An English-style ale with a striking “reddish-copper” color and smooth malty palate with just the right amount of bittering and aroma hops. [5.0% abv]

Here’s another teaser for the film with Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head:
