Asheville’s Wedge Brewing Co. will join us for a four-flight tasting of our newest brewery’s libations. Wedge bottles are on the way soon, so come out and get a taste! This is Wedge’s first tasting at Bruisin’ Ales and we’re happy to have them!
[EDITOR'S NOTE: Bruisin' Ales had both Wedge Super Saison and Belgian Abbey Ale with our Thanksgiving meal. Both are superb! Kudos!]
Iron Rail IPA
ABV: 6.8%
English-style India Pale Ale, British Pale Malts, Canadian Honey Malt and Belgian Crystal. Centennial, Kent Golding, and Cascade are added five times during the process, including dry hopping.
Community Porter
ABV: 6.5%
English-style Robust Porter with a West Coast twist, carob and maple are added into the kettle. First Gold Hops are added just to balance the malt sweetness.
Belgian Abbey Ale
ABV: 7.1%
A fruity, rich, monastic-style beer. Amber/Topaz colored with a generous long lasting fine bubble head.
Golem
ABV: 9.0%
Belgian Strong Golden Ale. Wicked and dangerously drinkable, this brew is made with Belgian pilsner malt, Canadian wheat malt, American corn and flaked oats, true Belgian candy sugar, a variety of European Noble Hops including Saaz. No fruit or spices are used in this brew! It’s all the yeast’s flavor contributions.
