Thursday Tasting: Stone Kick-off!

Posted Sep 25, 2008 in Beer, Beer Pairings, Breweries, Coming Soon, Events, People

[EDIT: Something we should noted earlier and in the e-mail notice is that IF you can, please walk/bike/take public transport to the Stone Tasting tonight at Bruisin' Ales. Thanks to Paul at Brainshrub for pointing that out.]

The long awaited day as arrived, friends! Stone Brewing Company is almost here. (Beer spies tell us taps go online statewide on September 17.) Nate of Tryon Distributing will join us TODAY Thursday, September 25 to kick-off a sweet line of some of the best brews from the West Coast. Yet another fantastic addition for North Carolina. Time to celebrate! The cheese pairings today are once again provided by Three Graces Diary.

Stone Pale [American Pale / 5.2% abv]
Stone IPA [American IPA / 6.9% abv]
Stone Ruination IPA [American Double IPA / 7.7% abv]
Stone Arrogant Bastard [American Strong Ale / 7.25% abv]
Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard [American Strong Ale / 7.25% abv]

You can check the ratings here.

(Sorry, we’re not sampling the Smoked Porter today. That particular beer was on tight allocation for now, so we’re hoarding it. For you, that is. It’s super dee-lish!)
