We have our first Fantome at Bruisin’ Ales today. As La Choulette is known for being the best Biere de Garde out of Belgium, Fantome is hands-down known as one of the best of the Saisons (without being a true farmhouse brewery). This latest from off-the-wall brewer Dany Prignon is called Dalmatienne. Dalmatienne is a seasonal brew and Prignon’s experiments vary from year-to-year.
Also Mikkeller fans, Black Hole has arrived. This crazy Russian Imperial Stout from our favorite Danes is brewed with coffee and described on their website as “daring, vulgar, and extreme.” At a wee 13.1% abv, that seems about right.
Be sure to listen to The Beer Guy’s Podcast this week where we make some fine suggestions for your holiday party!
