Thursday’s tasting features some beer of the season, Oktoberfest, with two Mt. Shasta’s throw-in just for good measure. Lederhosen not required.
Mt. Shasta Pale Ale—”With a perfect light amber color and a careful addition of Perle, Mt. Hood and Cascade hops, Mt. Shasta Ale is an amazingly smooth and easy to drink Extra Pale Ale.” [4.5% abv]
Otter Creek Oktoberfest—”Oktoberfest’s deep golden hue helps bring to mind the old country and its time honored traditions. Brewed with Hallertau and Tettnang hops to balance its clean, malty sweetness, it’s the perfect brew for a crisp Autumn day.” [4.8% abv]
Left Hand Oktoberfest—”The sweetness of German malts dominate upfront, while the noble pedigree hops allow for a proper dry finish, true to style.” [6.0% abv]
Mt. Shasta Olde Ale—”A full bodied old-style ale boasting a sweet malty flavor and a warming finish.” [8.1% abv]
Avery The Kaiser—”We took all that is good in a traditional Oktoberfest –gorgeous, deep copper sheen, massive malty backbone and spicy, floral, pungent noble hops–then intensified each into this, an Imperial Oktoberfest.” [9.3% abv]
