Bruisin’ Ales is hosting a very special beer tasting / fundraising event with Sean Wilson of Pop The Cap to benefit Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This funky little come-and-go afternoon celebrates brewers near and far with a very special guest: Lee Chase, former head brewer of Stone Brewing in Escondido, CA. Join us for this little Meet-n-Greet, talk to Sean about the state of craft beer in North Carolina and chat it up with Lee about his years at Stone. (We promise, he’s no Arrogant Bastard.) Seems something is brewing in our fine state, but that’s not for us to divulge. You’ll just have to come see. Our local brewers will also be there, so if you’ve never seen them out and about, here’s your chance to say thanks!

As the West Meets East, we’re celebrating beer in the West Coast style (with a little of the Extreme East thrown-in for good measure). Hors d’ouvres will be served.

Beers on the flight include:

Stone: IPA and Arrogant Bastard
Oskar Blues: Dale’s Pale Ale, Old Chubb
Avery: Salvation
Great Divide: Yeti Imperial Stout
Left Hand: Ginger
SKA: Nefarious Ten Pin Porter
Dogfish Head: 90 Minute IPA
