In conjunction with the Asheville Art Museum, we proudly invite you to ARTmob’s “Make It Brew” event on April 13 @ 5:30 p.m. Join The AAM and Bruisin’ Ales at the museum for this special fundraising and art-awareness event.
Did we mention there’s beer? Five of our distributors will be donating and presenting beers from their portfolios all in the name of good art. Huge thanks to Tryon, Newcross, Hart, Skyland, and Empire. We think that is just so cool.
From the press release:
Asheville, NC—The Asheville Art Museum has created ARTmob, an exciting new membership group for 20 to 40 year olds in the community. The Museum is dedicated to attracting audiences of all ages and following the great response to last summer’s fascinating exhibition Under the Skin: Tattoos and Contemporary Culture, the Museum decided to design an annual series of events, educational opportunities and entertainment just for this audience.
The next ARTmob evening, Make It Brew, is set for Friday, April 13 at 5:30 p.m. in conjunction with our upcoming exhibition Make It New: Western North Carolina Artists Exhbition 2007 that highlights the work of 25 outstanding contemporary regional artists. Make It Brew will pair great beer with great art! New downtown specialty beer shop Bruisin’ Ales will host and beer tastings will be supplied by local distributors.
How to be a part of the mob? First, become a Member of the Museum, and then add $10 ARTmob dues per person. ARTmobsters will enjoy all the benefits of a full year of Museum membership, in addition to invitations to exclusive ARTmob events. Interested in attending an event, but not ready for full ARTmob membership? Guests may pay an admission fee for each gathering. The Museum is looking for ARTmob volunteers to participate in events. Getting involved is fun and a great way to meet new and interesting people.
To join ARTmob or to subscribe to the email list please call Rebecca Lynch-Maass at 828.253.3227, ext. 114 or rlynchmaass@ashevilleart.org.

Don’t miss it! Admission is FREE if you join ARTmob or $10 at the door as a guest.
